Pixel-based.com '04
After I graduated from college I felt it was time to do some growing up. So I tore down pixel-based.com '03 and created '04.'04 ended up running circles around '03 not only was the color scheme much more appealing but over al the site felt fresh and new. With small touches like changing banners, rollover buttons, JavaScript menus, and a better uses of CSS, '04 was a huge step in the right direction.
art.Pixel-based.com 1.0
Out of the ashes of art.pixel-ased.com 0.01 came 1.0. My underlining goal was to find a easy way to showcase my work but with a catch. But this time around I wanted to only use CSS to present it.Besides the scrolling banner the only other image I uses was the gradient background. The site mostly was comprised of test and many different type of CSS styling’s.
art.Pixel-based.com 0.01
I knew I need to be able to show my work to the world but I had so much that I didn't think I could do it all on pixel-based.com. So I came up with art.pixel-based.com. It would be huge repository of all my work throughout the years.0.01 was the beginning of this project. I wanted it to feel like a news design site but that would showcase my work. What you see here is what I came up with in the beginning. Though it never came to light I still feel the design is worthy of showcasing here.

search.Pixel-based.com
These days everyone uses Google. It's become a house hold name. But why does Google have to be so plain and ugly? Yes, it loads very quickly but still can'y you have your cake and eat it too? Unbranded "Start 2.0 "
With the same concept of "Start 1.0" this was an unbranded version that could be used by anyone. It was made due to the demand of Medialab employees that wanted to use Start 1.0 at home but for strictly personal use.
All Medialab branding was removed and replaced the gray tone of the site with a fresh white which gave it a more inviting feeling. Also the Google search was moved to the top of the page since that was the most commonly used feature.
